Catherine was amazing throughout the night. She was on top of managing my pain. She helped me up often and was very patient with the amount of time it took me to do anything. She was encouraging and helped me get to a point that she and I were both comfortable with me walking alone. I absolutely loved that she asked to explain my genetic disorder as she had not heard of it. That tells me that she looked in my medical history and has a desire to continue learning. It meant a lot because I've had many nurses and doctors who will see it and say they don't know what it is but don't bother to ask. Catherine was amazing in helping me to meet goals, like walking, progressing my diet, and non-pharmacological approaches to dealing with pain. She was a joy to speak with and I am glad I had her as a nurse.
