As an “older mom” I was a little leery of having this cute, young nurse and her abilities to take care of my baby and me. I couldn’t have been more wrong when it came to Celeste. She was motivated, knowledgeable and relatable with having a young daughter herself. Despite working nights, I felt like she worked the hardest to ensure that loose ends were tied, answered questions I had, got things I needed, and ensured we were happy and comfortable. She lined up baby E’s first bath, took her so I could sleep a little, and made sure her car seat test was done so we could be discharged in a timely manner. As a breastfeeding mom, she shared her knowledge and experiences with me, which I was so grateful for. She even complimented me on something simple that made me feel like a million bucks, despite wearing an adult diaper and needing a shower. I looked forward to her coming back to work in the evenings to care for my baby and me. I hope Celeste maintains her sweet demeanor and relatability throughout her career as a nurse.
