Chana is a tower of gentle, yet firm, strength, giving "supportive" a whole new dimension. She is fun and crazy yet a stabilizer for our family and fellow nurses.

I have been amazed by Chana's individually, but have had occasion to observe her as a team player and am profoundly impressed with her dedication to the profession, devotion to her patients, concern for family members and pride in her facilty. My father formed a particular bond with Chana throughout his admission. She assisted my mother, who was simply overwhelmed with grief and task saturated, with understanding the therapy and rehabilitation process, provide her with contact information, comforted her when she was distraught and made a point of focusing on her needs as well as these of my father, the patient.
She brought joy to a hopeless situation and her positive energy helped my mother become optimistic about my father's recovery. I believe she would have suffered some sort of breakdown without her.
Chana's care for my father was simply amazing. He has had several significant tragedies, culminating in this event. I am convinced that he had abandoned his will to live and I have no doubt that the relentless optimism, joy and sincere genuine love she showed him and my mother, was instrumental in his recovery to this point.
I am writing this because you need to know what this nurse did for us. In the simplest terms, she gave us back a husband, father, brother and friend.
