My father was admitted to the hospital for what would be his end of life. As you can imagine, this time was very difficult for our family. I remember one night when Chassity Blade was in with my dad and he was thanking her for caring for him. She quickly stopped him and said, "You don't have to thank me, I'm doing my job and it's my pleasure." Chassity Blade was such a joy to be around. She was always friendly, even when I wasn't. Even once Chassity wasn't assigned to his room anymore, she still came by and said hi to let him know she was thinking of him. This meant the world to my dad! Thank you to Chassity for being her bubbly, cheerful self and for her taking time with her patients to make them feel "extra" special.
