I was blessed by this new grad RN. Her care and compassion in nursing show what an asset she will be in the healthcare field. While my inpatient stay was a long and bumpy one, Chea stepped up during an emergency episode that was very scary for me, calling my family in, getting the doctor called and even staying over her shift to get me back to my room and settled. The next day she returned looking refreshed and smiling. I was having a hard time and feeling very emotional. It was a Sunday and my daughter's birthday and I could not make it to church or be home to celebrate with my daughter. Chea sat down next to me as I broke down my feelings. She cried with me and then offered to do anything she could to make me feel better. I had been confined to my room due to contact precautions. She checked protocol and then told me that during her lunch break, she would take me down to the chapel and even outside to the garden. Her actions were priceless and made a huge impact on my care. She is a true angel. Bless you, Chea.
