Cheryl has a very difficult and demanding job, where sometimes she has to be the individual who informs the patient that they have cancer. Cheryl walks with the patients as they go through their journey with cancer, through victories and set backs. I was privileged to be a witness to this while helping a patient be transported to radiation for a few weeks. On numerous occasions, Cheryl was there for the patient and spouse through several setbacks as the patient tried to get daily care as well as radiation treatment. Cheryl even had to inform the patient and spouse that insurance would not cover the expense of being in a skilled nursing facility and getting radiation treatment at the same time. Cheryl is available to all of her patients throughout the cancer treatment process. She is always informative, extremely caring, and empathetic.

On this specific occasion, Cheryl eased the worry and burdens of the patient and spouse while helping direct their path. She is a joy to work with and a great example of a truly caring and loving individual.
