Cheyenne consoled and restored me to myself and took such good and gentle care of my husband, and it was as if he were her own cherished family member.
From the very first moments my husband and I arrived in the ICU, Cheyenne Lehr was a true angel on this Earth. My husband was suffering from HSV1 encephalitis, with tonic-clonic seizures; I was completely distraught, with little to no hope for his future recovery. Cheyenne consoled and restored me to myself and took such good and gentle care of my husband, and it was as if he were her own cherished family member. She treated him as a person, speaking to him and explaining to him, even though he was sedated and not able to respond. She took great care to preserve his dignity and privacy. She reassured me every step of the way and gave me the ability to begin to hope again. I knew that any time I couldn't be present, she'd give the best loving care and attention. I fully and truly believe that my husband's outcome would not have been so good without Cheyenne.
