I was spoken to with kindness, compassion, and patience at all times by Chloe.
Chloe looked after me whilst also taking care of my family in what was a traumatic and shocking situation. I was diagnosed with inoperable cancer and required palliative care the evening before I was admitted to the ward. I was spoken to with kindness, compassion, and patience at all times.
The care that Natalie provided was amazing. In a very difficult situation of being diagnosed with cancer and requiring palliative care, my family and I were all in shock. The gentleness and kindness shown to us all were amazing, particularly in such a busy environment. I am very grateful indeed.
Summarily, the care - practical, clinical, and emotional I received from Kathy while recovering from critical and unexpected surgery saved my life. But for Kathy, I would not be here to write this. She supported me in ways I did not even realize I needed. Her advice has proved sound, too. My heart would leap when I heard her voice, and so knew she was working that shift. In particular, the first week after my first op and release from ITU, when I could not move, I had further ops to undergo .. she was a godsend to me AND to my wife and children. She befriended us all offering care, reassurance comfort and confidence at a truly scary and distressing time. I cannot commend or recommend or thank her enough / there were some very hairy moments over those weeks; I don’t believe I would have survived them but for her - I owe her my life.
