My dad was a patient multiple times on PCU before he passed away. Christen was his nurse a few of those times. She always showed him nothing but kindness, respect, and was so caring. She treated him like family but still was always professional. He loved her.

Christen was my nurse after I had a stroke. She is the sweetest, most caring nurse I have ever encountered. She was patient when I couldn’t find my words. She fed me. She even made a communication board to help me communicate with my family. Christen encouraged me through my physical therapy. Those first few days were very rough, but she made me feel like I could make it through. She deserves this award and much more.
