Christina was an absolute delight! Every time she walked out of the room I would say "I love your nurse!" My 22 yo daughter came in unexpectedly with a brain tumor and obstructive hydrocephalus. She literally had to leave work and drive herself to the hospital for surgery in the morning. She was scared and anxious. Christina walked into the room with so much brightness. She made a real connection with my daughter because they are both nurses and similar in age. She wasn't intimidated that my daughter was also a nurse and took clear charge of her care while just lightening the mood with her positivity and energy.

When my daughter came back from surgery, there were balloons, and a card that we assumed were from her nursing unit at her hospital, but they were from Christina and the entire floor. She said she wanted to do something because she was so young, and she knew how scared she was. I couldn't believe it. She was a champ at her job, a huge cheerleader, and had a wonderful connection with all of us, and I was sad when her shift was over. We enjoyed her presence so much. She deserves recognition for her personal and compassionate care!!
