Christina, "Paige" oozes compassionate care and empathy towards the patients she works with. Paige is a Behavioral Health Care Coordinator. She frequently works from home, but a few times a month, she works at the clinic. On these occasions, I have had the opportunity to hear her use therapeutic listening and communication skills over and over again with patients. Most recently, a patient enrolled in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) with Paige. The patient had gone through a traumatic sexual assault experience at her workplace. While this type of situation is not one that Paige frequently works with, she was adamant about making sure this patient felt cared for and did not have to do extra work to get the care she deserves. One of the things Paige is working on for this patient is ensuring her billing is going through workmen's compensation so that the patient does not receive a bill. Furthermore, Paige is reaching out to colleagues and external resources to ensure she understands how to help this patient in the best way possible. Overall, Paige's passion for mental health is clear, and her compassion and willingness to go above and beyond are apparent and appreciated by all her team members.
