What set Christine apart from most of the other staff that we came into contact with was her care. She genuinely cared for my wife, my daughter and me at a time when we needed that care. Christine went above and beyond all expectations. She made sure we were as comfortable as possible, she explained everything, and she asked questions so that she would actually know what we needed and wanted. She attended to every detail with gentle kindness and professionalism. In my opinion, she is a living, breathing example of what nursing is supposed to be. In the fast-paced environment of a critical care unit, and at a time when nurses are being pushed to do more with less, it is comforting to know that Christine is out there providing exactly the kind of care that is needed. It is an honor to know her, and it was a blessing for my family to have had her as our nurse.
