Christine has done an excellent job since opening the Parker Urgent Care last April. She has helped with orienting new team members; giving excellent suggestions in placing and organizing new supplies; facilitating and creating new check lists of all sorts are just some of the things that she has done.

I have received glowing reviews from team members that Christine has oriented and on more than one occasion it has been mentioned to me that they wish to be like her.

When we opened Parker, with our limited space, it was challenging to determine where to store our supplies. Christine was very positive and action-oriented in suggesting trays, bins, and spaces where to place items. Christine is a wizard at Excel and has created multiple checklists, phone lists, and other tools that we still utilize today.

Christine does an excellent job in her patient management and family interactions by incorporating her wealth of experience on a day-to-day basis and doing so with a positive can-do attitude.

Christine has shown exemplary talents as charge nurse by navigating tricky processes with our scope of practice at Parker Urgent Care and helping guide our medical providers with what can be a thorny issue.

To summarize, it is with great pleasure that I nominate Christine Franklin for the DAISY Award. Her actions go beyond what is expected of a nurse on a day-to-day basis, and she exemplifies good role modeling skills for other team members.
