Nurse Christine Gilbert is the true meaning of a Florence Nightingale. She is the best, most caring, compassionate nurse I have ever met. She was my mom's nurse while she was on the Cardio/Vascular Unit. She treated me and my family like we were her family. She hugged us, supported us and explained things to us.
After my mom was moved, she was never too busy with her other patients to come and check on my mom and us. She was so supportive once we decided not to do any other treatment for my mom. We were then moved again and we went to let her know where we would be and she said she would continue to pray for my mom and my family.
I have been witness to several sweet nurses since my mom has been sick, but none have ever been as nice and compassionate as Christine Gilbert. She nurses from her heart and that is the difference- it is not just a job to her. If I were to ever be a patient, I pray Christine Gilbert will take care of me and my family.
