I was recently admitted to Memorial for a DVT which required TPA and four days in the hospital. It has been a very trying time for me and my family. My wife was very concerned. Christine was the first nurse we met on the third floor. She was welcoming and did her best to put me and my wife at ease. Her extra effort made a huge difference for us. It was easy to tell after only meeting Christine once that she is truly dedicated to her patients, each and every one of them. She was willing to do anything for us and provide anything we needed, but her dedication and passion for her patients and her job was the thing that stuck with me the most. On top of this, Christine took it upon herself to print out materials for us to read on my condition and especially some very helpful information on the plethora of drugs that were available for this condition. She communicated all of this so we could understand it and she answered every question and was not hesitant to get further information if needed. She truly epitomizes what a nurse is all about. She made this very trying time for my family so much easier to handle and deal with; and for that we will be forever grateful!
