Christopher Bentley is one of the patient experience champions on the unit. Christopher was nominated by his manager, who had this to say about how Christopher is deserving of this award:

"Chris has always been caring and compassionate to patients. He is passionate about enhancing our patients' experiences. An urgent case got added for the day. The patient developed some complications and was transferred directly to ICU from the OR. Chris was involved in making sure all necessary arrangements and precautions were completed. He went to the lobby where the family members were waiting, explained the situation within his scope, provided emotional support and stayed with them until the patient was ready to be transferred via ambulance. Rather than give them instructions on how to go to the ICU from Casey, he decided to escort them to the ICU himself and kept providing emotional support along the way. He made sure that the family members were situated before he left them. He did all this after his shift had ended."
