Chrystal really shows the true definition of a dedicated nurse and gives her all in caring for patients with her big smile and humble spirit.
Thank you, Mrs. Chrystal. I really don't know where to start, for I have so much to say. It takes a special person to be a nurse, you are that special person for me. Being a mom for the first time and the danger I was facing, having you as my nurse made all the difference. I'll always remember your excellent care and kindness while in the surgery room. I also want you to know my recovery would have been incomplete without seeing your smile that night. It would have been impossible to remain positive had you not given me hope throughout my delivery and recovery. Thank you, not just for being the best nurse in the world but for being the sunshine in my life. The girls and I love you!

My daughter was admitted into the hospital at 24 weeks pregnant with mono mono twins to be monitored until they were delivered. We were excited about her having the twins, but on the human side, we were granddaughters of the unknown, being that all the stories we had heard and how doctors said those twins are the most dangerous pregnancy to have. But we met this God-sent nurse by the name of Chrystal Mitchell, and right off the bat, she talked to us, giving us hope and easing our mounting fear.

My daughter and granddaughters were closely monitored, and she assured us that everything would be ok as the days and weeks went by. Chrystal was also checking in; even though she wasn’t my daughter's nurse, her presence and positive conversations made those two months' hospital stay easier. My daughter was scheduled for a C-section and had requested Chrystal to be her nurse not knowing Chrystal would be off that day. However, a few days before her scheduled C-Section, I received a call from my daughter saying one of the twins was declining and they might be delivered that afternoon. First thing my daughter said, “Momma if you don’t make it, I’m going to be ok. Mrs. Chrystal is here with me.” I then felt at ease that she wasn’t alone being a first-time mother not knowing what to expect. It takes a special person to be a nurse, and Chrystal is special. I can’t thank her enough for being the A1 bedside nurse she is through the delivery in surgery, all the way through recovery. Chrystal really shows the true definition of a dedicated nurse and gives her all in caring for patients with her big smile and humble spirit. I thank her so much for we now have two healthy baby girls that are doing fine. Mrs. Chrystal was right there through our journey.
