Not only did Chuck give his patient excellent nursing care, he was very kind & helpful to his wife who stayed over a week in the room with her husband. When the patient developed the inability to control his bladder, Chuck stayed on top of the situation and gave extra care and made suggestions that led to his improvement. He helped them through a tough night where the patient had the constant urge but inability to urinate. He was always kind and helpful to the patient's wife as she stayed there. When the wife told him she had run out of clean clothing since their stay turned out to be much longer than anticipated, he went out of his way after his shift had ended to call the League House and see if they had laundry facilities available and came back up to the sixth floor and explained to her. He was a very kind and loving professional.
