I want to call your attention to the most caring and compassionate thing I have seen in years. There was a code on 4 South and the patient, unfortunately, did not survive. Her husband was extremely distressed. The nurse, Cierra took her time with the patient's husband and gave him so much comfort. Her compassion towards him was clear to everyone around. Her caring for the patient's husband the way she did went far above what would have been expected, and far above anything I have ever witnessed. I am so proud to call her a coworker and a friend. This is the kind of nurse that this hospital should be proud of.
