I would like to take this time to praise Cindy for her excellent service. She is extremely helpful and has a great attitude. She is one of the best nurses I have had. Thank you, Cindy, for all your help and patience. Always one step ahead when I needed something.

Cindy was warm, kind, funny and everything I needed and wanted. She took super care of me and I am so grateful she was here with me.

Cindy is the consummate RN. Hard to limit to one incident. She is professional, compassionate, warm and friendly. She is also very knowledgeable, and a great teacher to her RN assistant. She never let on it was a student. I never felt rushed. She always took her time to explain all of my care. I couldn't get through to the kitchen to order food so she used her personal phone. She was always respectful and introduced me to her RN replacement. She is incredible.

I had the pleasure of having Cindy as my nurse, both pre-op and my 2nd post op for admission. Her sweet and friendly outgoing personality instantly made me feel at ease and confident that she genuinely cared about my well-being. She also went the extra mile to make sure that my family members who stayed with me were comfortable, which allowed me to relax knowing that they were also in good hands. Cindy was more than a nurse. She was a friend during my stay and definitely made my Kaiser experience a better experience.

Cindy was cheerful, fast and a great listener. She made me feel safe with her courteous attention.

I had my first surgery in June which was successful. I stayed until a few days later and Cindy was one of the nurses who took care of me. She was very upbeat and was always asking if there was anything more she could do for me. The goal that day was for me to pass gas, and embarrassingly, it turned out to be more. Cindy not only didn't flinch when I told her but congratulated me and told me this was a great sign that my bowels were working! I kept apologizing and she was so nice about it and told me to not worry. She also cheered me up throughout her shift. I was sad that my daughters weren't able to visit and I missed them terribly. Cindy was empathetic and was a great listener. At the end of her shift, she did what no other nurse did, she hugged me. It is nurses like Cindy that make a patient's post-op experience a pleasant one.
Note: This is Cindy's 2nd DAISY Award!
