Cindy had a patient who was dying and desperately wanted to see his wife of 60+ years. However, the wife did not drive anymore and had no way to get to the hospital. With Cindy's help she was able to arrange for a ride to drop her off here so she could see her husband, and maybe, it would be for the very last time.

Cindy happily offered to take the wife back home when her shift was over at 7:00 pm. Cindy definitely went above and beyond to fulfill a dying man's wish and ensured he was able to say goodbye to his life-long love.

Cindy is a true example of a DAISY nurse, showing compassion and meeting the needs of both patients and their loved ones.
