I needed a new hip, not an extraordinary procedure in general until it is you receiving the surgery. Recovering in my room, I was blessed and honored to meet and be treated by this wonderful nurse, woman and incredibly caring human being. Upon meeting her it was clearly apparent that she was special. Her treatment of a patient's needs combined with her caring and powerful presence is a testimony to her dedication and professionalism. She guided me to the understanding of my situation and recovery path to perfection. She educated my daughter and me on wound care, medications and their pros and cons, and what was happening to me internally as I healed from this specific operation and its progression. I was lucky to have had fine medical care at Bethesda Hospital West but the gift of having Cindy Jo be a big part of my healing must be recognized.
