...Clare is a preceptor supporting the newer nurses that are on, and recently off of, orientation. She has a wonderful sense of humor, a ready smile, and always lends a helping hand. Her patients and their family members receive the utmost attention while in Clare's care. Not a single request is considered too much for her. Not only does Clare impact the team environment and the patient care delivery on the 16th floor but she also makes waves around the hospital.

Recently, Clare was floated to the PCU and she assisted the PCU nurses in any way she could. Not only was she helpful to the PCU, but she was compassionate and caring with the patients, using that healing touch to make a difference. She spoke to patients and families with a thoughtful tone of understanding, this helped the PCU nurses in making the patients comfortable in bed, and provided a healing hand when needed.
