This NICU team is amazing! It is a small, but mighty, team of RNs. They do it all from saving the lives of tiny babies to soothing the hearts of worried parents. They answer the unit phones, stock supplies, draw labs, and open the door to welcome unit visitors. They make sure that every baby has a hand-chosen children's book that is signed with a loving note by every nurse that cares for that babe. They also make sure that every baby has a personalized name card at their bedside. These nurses know that it is the little things that make a big difference to their NICU Families. They pull together when emergencies happen, and they support each other as much as they do our patients. The teamwork and compassion shown by the Baptist Clay NICU nurses have created an environment that has made a difference in the lives of many patients, families, and their co-workers.
