I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my (and my husband's) recent experience here at Vista East. My husband was confined to the hospital for a blood infection in April. He then had to have a triple bypass. Through this whole experience, there have been numerous nurses so wonderful, caring, and helpful, but one in particular clearly took steps above and beyond. Cliff helped both me and my husband through the preparation for surgery in explaining what to expect. He looked for me on the day of surgery to keep me updated and provided wonderful support during the hospital stay.
Since we have been discharged my husband is, now, in cardiac rehab. We have seen him multiple times in the hallway, and he always stops to inquire about how my husband is doing. He gave us his cell phone number and said we could call him anytime we have questions and said just because my husband is discharged he is still here to help us.
Well, this week I was walking the halls (getting my steps in while my husband is doing his cardiac rehab), and while I was walking on the ground flood I saw him, and he stopped to ask how everything was going. He spent 10 minutes talking to me and explaining the recovery process. I mentioned that my husband was kind of discouraged. The next thing I knew when I walked by the cardiac rehab room, he was there sitting beside my husband talking to him. Wow, talk about above and beyond, you are so fortunate to have such a caring employee. I want to thank him for everything he has done for us, and I do not want his acts of kindness to go unnoticed. My husband was so encouraged by his words and him taking the time to talk to us helped him to feel better in his recovery. Thank you.
