Connie is the epitome of a caring nurse. Not only did she make her patient feel she was at the best hospital in the world, but she also made me, the family member, feel cared for. The thing that impressed me most was how complimentary she was of the entire team; she made us feel the entire department was there to help in any way they could. She assured us we had the best doctors and nurses in the hospital. To me, that showed that it wasn't just about what the patient thought about her, but everyone taking care of us. She also did little things that made me feel important, a cup of coffee and a warm blanket. Yes, she certainly meets the DAISY criteria.
