I was recently admitted to the hospital, following a fall at my home where I hit my head. I also had pneumonia. At the age of 91, I was fortunate to be independent, living by myself, and able to take care of finances, keep appointments, drive, etc. Being a retired nurse, I know the importance of good patient care. Corrine was my nurse for two days and here mannerisms and kindness were exceptional. Corrine took the time to explain treatments and to listen to me. On the day that she was not my nurse, she would stop by to see how I was doing. She has such a lovely smile and quiet demeanor. The day I was discharged; even though she was not my nurse, she waited to say goodbye. Corrine, may all of your patients benefit from your nursing expertise and your kindness in caring for them.
