I came for an outpatient lung biopsy; my left lung was collapsed so I was admitted. I was supposed to be in the hospital for a day or two. I ended up being there for 5 weeks. During this time there were a lot of great nurses, but even so, there was one who really stood out.
Cory seemed to have the knowledge and expertise more than the average nurse. I asked him about his background, he said he was a paramedic in the service. I have COPD; so does his wife, so I gained a lot of information on COPD from him and experiences with his wife. He was always on top of my condition, explaining everything and keeping me informed. He was really great on changing my IV's and taking care of any issue I had. Cory is very attentive, and I have never felt that he was being rushed.
