Courtney goes above and beyond for our patients and staff every shift she works. She is a patient advocate and always ensures patients get what they need and ensures they are in a room or seen by a provider ASAP. She handles patient complaints very often and she always talks to the staff and patients to ensure the situation is resolved and doesn't happen again. Most importantly though she is always there for the ER staff. Every shift that she works as management she always comes out to help. She works as a tech or staff nurse even though she has a million other things piled on her desk to take care of as a manager. She also comes into work as a staff nurse when we are short-staffed or have a call in. Courtney has worked all day as a manager and helping out in the ER and will then come back in the night shift when they are short-staffed or busy. Courtney really works harder than anyone I know and always puts patients first. I admire her as a manager and we are lucky to have her.
