We have had Courtney multiple times over the last year. She is a nurse who truly cares for her patients.
Each time we have had Courtney she makes us feel as though we are the only family on the floor. She clearly communicates with us and the doctors. She always assesses our whole situation, not just one part. She keeps up with any changes happening and isn't worried about asking for us or the doctors to clarify things. I love that she does the double checking. Even after coming in for our first infection post-transplant, Courtney helped keep all of us calm and clear-headed.
Courtney always has a smile and she has made us feel a part of the Cook Children's family. I can't wait to see where her career goes!
