I have been a patient at this facility for some time and have had a wonderful experience there. My nurse, Courtney, is a wonderful, caring person whom I have gotten to know quite well. She is kind and a wonderful nurse as well. As far as her helping me, she does it all and then waits for me to do it as well. We are all fortunate to have her as a nurse caregiver. She genuinely cares for her patients and goes the extra mile to help them out. All of the girls are very helpful, but she shines in her efforts.

Our 93-year-old father was admitted for a variety of serious problems leading to his passing. Courtney was our assigned RN during the time our father was at Pen Bay. Courtney was an absolutely amazing caregiver for Dad during the course of his care. She was compassionate, intuitive, and adept at dealing with the many members of our family who were present. You are so lucky to have a nurse with her abilities and commitment. She even stayed past her shift on the third “12” night before Thanksgiving to help us in this process.

There were many caregivers at Pen Bay who made the experience a positive one, but Courtney stands out. We know she truly cared about our dad and his well-being. Thank you, Courtney.
