Coy was very persistent the morning I had a seizure. He knows I usually answer on the first ring, and when I didn't answer after he'd called me twice, he called my dad to come over and check on me. If Coy had not been so persistent, I wouldn't be here today. I was intubated in the ambulance, I was almost gone. Coy called my dad back to make sure EMS was there, then he called the hospital to tell them I was coming, and then he even called and checked on me while I was in the hospital. Coy is a great man. Always kind, humble, and has a smile on his face.
Anything I've asked or any problems I've had, Coy has taken care of it. He helps me to get dressed and into the wheelchair, and he always makes sure I have what I need before he leaves. He is a big asset, and a big help.
I am unable to attend the award ceremony but if I could, I would want to give Coy a big thank you and a big hug. He's my guardian angel, and without his persistence, I wouldn't be here today.
