My sister was hospitalized; her health got worse, and she was sent to the ICU. She was out for 3 days with a tube down her throat. Cristy noticed she was hard of hearing, and she made sure my sister was well cared for even when she had other patients. This nurse went above and beyond, not only for my sister but for my family as well. She explained what was happening and what every step of the health care plan was. She talked to us and assured us she had parents who were deaf, and she knew how to sign to my sister. Especially when my sister was coming off sedation, she was so hard-working and caring that she took the time to answer our questions and make sure my sister understood what was going on. She is extremely kind and caring. She gave us hugs when she saw our tears and reassured us. In all the years of coming to Genesys, I never experienced such a wonderful, hard-working nurse. This woman gives all to her patients. There are not enough words to describe her. Awesome nurse.
