Crystal is one of the greats, let’s create a statue and at the base we need to write, cared about her patient, made her patient #1 while she was working with her. No other patient mattered while Crystal was in my room working with me. When she was working with me, she explained everything she was doing and why she was genuinely concerned that I didn’t know or was unaware of certain things pertaining to my care and condition. She called the doc for me and got my questions answered, which calmed me down and brought my heart rate down. I was scared about coming to the hospital, but she made that fear go away. She made me feel like I was truly important and that I wasn’t just a job. Her smile, her energy, and her kindness are immeasurable and are so important to healing. I was afraid to come to this hospital due to past experiences, I normally would not go or put off a procedure if a hospital stay was involved. Thanks to Crystal I have a new outlook on this hospital which is and was very important again, lifting another weight off my shoulders so I can focus on my recovery only. Being able to focus on healing is important, and Crystal took all the other worries away. Even through a hurricane, she kept me smiling, and I truly feel like part of the Ortho family.
