Jacque took care of a patient who was about to have major heart surgery. The patient was engaged, and the couple expressed the desire to be married prior to his surgery. Jacque took care of the patient for 12 hours on nightshift. In the morning Jacque asked the couple if they were truly serious about getting married. They both stated yes, but they weren't sure how to get it done since the next day he was scheduled to have his heart surgery. Jacque stayed up the following day driving to the courthouse to get the appropriate paperwork, to get decorations, and to get a wedding cake.

Jacque Musgrove was a true driver and advocate for her patient, but it took a team to make it all happen. Shanna Reynolds helped with the flower arrangements, Trisha Milner made the calls to the judge for the legal paperwork, and Abby Ball and Summer Andrews helped to decorate the room for the ceremony. Jacque and the others put it all together and they had their wedding ceremony on the unit! The couple was very grateful that we were able to fulfill their wish before he had his surgery.
