Cynthia is very compassionate and loves her patients. A few months ago, I witnessed Cynthia's commitment to a patient who was diagnosed with throat cancer by getting her insurance to approve the patient's script for Ensure. She must have made over 40 calls, was transferred and blown off by insurance people and pharmacies, each telling her different hoops to jump through. The patient's insurance approved the Ensure that she would need once treatment started. But, no pharmacy would fill it. She called so many people and spent so many hours doing everything she could do to get her patient Ensure. She was concerned because she knew this patient would not be able to eat and this was all she would have for nourishment. This went on for a couple of weeks, but Cynthia would not give up. She was determined to get this done. She even came to me and we prayed over the situation for God to get it done. (All without breaching HIPAA!). She finally got it through on that same day. The patient was so happy and relieved. Cynthia truly cares and goes the extra mile to give each of her patients the best care she can. She is a friend to all in WMPG. Cynthia is exceptional.
