She let my kids know what was going on, but she did it in a way that made my kids feel comfortable with how everything was being handled.
When I came into the hospital, I was very critically ill. I don’t remember much of July, but I know I was the sickest in the hospital, according to my doctors. Dani had me, and although I tried to die several times, my kids said she was so kind and kept a level head. She let my kids know what was going on, but she did it in a way that made my kids feel comfortable with how everything was being handled. One thing I remember was one night I was having a bad night, and she took the time to give me "mental" care by talking to me about different things we had in common, like our pets. My family absolutely loved her! I will also say that the entire staff that worked on me was fantastic! The heart failure doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and anyone else I had interactions with! Everyone was so good. It was hard to narrow it down to Dani. But I know she is a big reason I am alive today.
1. She made my family feel they were confident and could handle my problems. 2. Made me feel like she cared! 3. I honestly don’t think I’d be here today had she not done so well those first days.
