I have been a patient at Methodist hospital throughout the years. I am a kidney transplant recipient, a bariatric bypass and gallbladder procedure patient and there are many dynamics involved in my care. I was recently admitted to Methodist Hospital on Thursday. I encountered Nurse Daniel and was received with a certain kind of care that I deemed as skilled and highly professional. As a patient, I always try to be respectful of hospital staff and listen to what is being conveyed by the nurse. Yet, throughout the years, I have become an active participant in my personal health care, and I observed that Daniel would digest that which was being said along with his knowledge, skill, and personal observation of the situation. More so, my level of comfort was important to Nurse Daniel; allowing the healing process to take charge and perform. Hopefully I will be discharged soon, but I would like to thank Daniel and the entire Methodist hospital staff on the 11th floor for providing compassionate and top notch care.
