I want to commend a nurse who went above and beyond her duties to provide compassionate care to my brother during a particularly changing time. My brother was struggling with addiction and was in a vulnerable state. Empathy, understanding, and guidance were instrumental in helping him turn his life around. She not only provided medical care but also offered invaluable support and resources. Her kindness and willingness to go the extra mile have had a profound impact on my brother’s life. Had she not been his nurse and angel in disguise, he would not be here today. He planned to leave when discharged and end his life. He decided to try one last option, as he had hit rock bottom, before taking action to harm himself. He is now sober and thriving, more importantly he is alive, thanks to her compassionate care. I believe her dedication to her patients is truly commendable, as she saved my baby brother’s life on this day, and I hope you will recognize her contributions to your hospital.. her actions exemplify the highest standards of nursing care
