Danielle Gorski is honored with the DAISY Award today based on her clinical skills, patient advocacy and all around team player. In addition to those attributes, I’d like to share with you some comments from mailed in cards, celebrate a star cards, awesome job award cards from patients:
“Danielle, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me. You were with me on some of my hardest days here and you helped me more than you will ever know. You are a wonderful nurse but your capacity to care goes far beyond that. I know it has been a short time but I really feel I found a friend. I just want you to know how wonderful you are and you mean a lot to me.” – L. R.
“Danielle was so amazing!! Her empathy and sweet spirit really helped us all through this difficult situation. To see our loved one go through this was so hard, but Danielle really helped us through. She is a gem.” - The F. and W. families
“Danielle for being such a rockstar nurse! She checks on me often and cares enough to know me personally.” –L. J.
“Danielle for being my princess during treatments. She waved her magic wand a couple times and made me feel better. Definitely goes above and beyond all of her duties.” – M. S.
“Danielle, you are a treasure especially to “first cycle” patients. We had so many questions and not once did you appear impatient. You made us feel like we were your only patients. Thank you for such compassionate care. ” – A. M.
“Danielle for exceptional nursing through caring rapport and skill. In a team of stars, she is a bright and shining example of the kind of nurses great places attract.” – S. S.
