Despite being one of the youngest nurses on our team, Danielle manages to be one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Danielle had an elderly patient that was being discharged home without a ride. The only option was for the elderly woman to take a taxi cab for her twenty minute trip home and then get herself into her house without incident. Danielle knew she would not be able to sleep that night not knowing if her patient made it home safe or not. So, what did she do? She jumped in the cab at the end of her shift and rode with her patient to ensure she made it home safe. She then paid her own fare back to the hospital so she could finally make her own way home. This is the type of care she provides to our patients on a daily basis without even thinking twice. These are the types of nurses that makes this not only a great place to work, but a great place to come for treatment.
