I was at COH for carpel tunnel surgery on my left hand. I had the opportunity to be taken care of by Danielle Houston while in the recovery room. I could not have received better care anywhere than what I received from Danielle. She was extremely professional and had a wonderful personality. She gave me her full attention and made what could have been a miserable situation much better. My blood pressure was extremely high, and Danielle had a special way of keeping my mind off of it. She kept my doctor in the loop and followed his orders. She monitored me constantly, keeping an eye on my blood pressure. I feel sure she had to stay after her regular schedule to give me wonderful care.

Danielle made the recovery room feel like I was part of the family. That feeling is so special, especially during a trying time. I don’t have a sister or a daughter, but I felt like I had one in Danielle. I would have loved to have brought her home with me. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable, plus she picks up on the emotions patients are feeling. After being some type of caregiver most of my life, I know how important and challenging it can be. I think it is important for caregivers to receive special recognition so they know how much their dedication means to others. Again, I would like to say thank you for going above and beyond, Danielle. Love you, girl!
