I walked into the OB unit with no clue what was ahead of me. When we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth. After a little while, I found out I was going to give birth to my twin babies at just 21 weeks gestation. The nurses were so empathetic towards me and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during my labor and after. They ensured I was as comfortable as possible and did their best at making me feel as if I wasn’t alone. The next morning, Danielle came in and shared her own experience with me, and we immediately connected. She offered to talk if/when I needed a shoulder to cry on. When I left, Danielle walked me to the entrance, gave me the biggest hug, and told me that if I ever needed anything, she was just a call away. Danielle going above and beyond while I stayed the weekend at the hospital has forever changed my life, and I am beyond grateful for her. I left 2 days ago and have been thinking non-stop about her impactful actions throughout the weekend. I’ve NEVER had such an amazing experience with any nurses I’ve ever encountered before.
