Dannette was nominated by the son of an 83-year-old patient, who shared the following: "My 83-year-old mother was transferred to the hospital from out of town. While no one wants to be in an out-of-town hospital, we are very grateful that Dannette was on duty and helped us throughout Mom's stay. Dannette was empathetic to our situation and treated her and the family with dignity and respect. In addition, she was attentive to our needs throughout Mom's stay and did her best to keep us informed. The kindness and compassion she showed were unparalleled. My mother has been to various hospitals in other areas but has never been to the Abrazo Central Campus. It is comforting knowing that she can get such great care in a hospital so far from home. Dannette's outstanding bedside manner and professionalism prompted me to nominate her for the recognition.“
