I met Dannielle 2 years ago at wound care. She was very professional, caring, and helpful in addressing my leg and circulation issues. At that time, she asked me if I ever used leg pumps to assist in getting blood from my lower extremities back up for circulation and cleansing. I had not heard about them, but Dannielle followed through, and an outside vendor scheduled a visit and came to our home to show how they worked. I have used them faithfully ever since- I love them! 

In August, I had another wound care appointment with Dannielle. She believed she knew the problem with the continued issues with my left leg. Lymphitis is what she thought was the problem, and she made a request to my primary doctor to consult the vascular team. Dannielle also asked about my need for greater compression and sought the leg wraps that can compress over my mild compression socks. Dannielle also supplied me with bandages that were easiest on my skin condition. I was so happy to have had Dannielle again, as she cares about me and other vets. She helps us get healed. Dannielle has done more in my two visits over a two-year period than any other person in the wound care clinic.

She is high quality and very professional, and the Minneapolis VA is fortunate to have an employee who cares for the veterans as she does! Thank you for your review and consideration of her for this coveted award!
