David had two nominations, one from a patient and one from a cardiothoracic surgeon.

Patient:

I am writing on behalf of myself and my family in regards to Nurse David. I was in his care after my surgery. I appreciated his professionalism and superior bed side manner in caring for me. He was patient and would teach and explain as he would administer meds and or procedures. I am truly impressed with this young man's knowledge and passion for caring for his patients. I must add that the entire staff was extra special in helping me with my needs and my family. Thank you all so much and God bless.

Surgeon:

David always takes good care of critically ill patients. He is competent in providing his care. He is also compassionate and communicates well with the family members and the the physicians.
