I wanted to express my gratitude to RN James, who cared for my mother-in-law. He was very helpful and informative and made sure I left with no unanswered questions. Then, today, I visited my mother-in-law again, and there were questions my family had, but the nursing staff was not around. I walked out to the nurses’ station and found James. He immediately came to her room to talk with the family and answer questions/listen to concerns. He also helped her take her medication that was sitting on the counter because she was too weak and shaky to take it herself.

We all let him know how much we appreciated him, but upon his exit, I realized that he wasn’t even assigned to my mother-in-law’s room today based on the board. That spoke even more about his dedication to providing quality care to his patients. The fact that he did not have to take time out of his busy day to come to comfort my family, but he indeed did make time, and it wasn’t even his responsibility; it was someone else’s today. Please make sure you hold onto James tight because he is rare, and my family is extremely thankful for him. I’m sure many more families are as well!
