Dawn Doranski is an amazing nurse and well deserving of this award. I want to nominate her because of one instance in particular.
A patient was very confused about his medications; he had no family to help him and had no real way of getting around. Dawn spent several days making sure that this patient received transportation to come into the clinic so that she could go over all his medications with him. She made him pill packages and explained to him when he needed to take his medication. Dawn ensured that he understood all the directions. This man really matters to Dawn and there are several other patients just like him that Dawn will absolutely go out of her way to help. Dawn's the definition of what a nurse is.
