I am thankful that nurse Deanna Gutierrez was able to care for my son during his time here. She demonstrated all the qualities one would expect from a nurse who cares.

Deanna took very good care of my son during his stay. She showed her passion for nursing by the attention and overall patient centered care she provided to him.

My son’s nurse showed great compassion as she explained the process of what she was going to do and walked us through each step as it was being done. She was proactive in his care by frequently checking in on him and being available when needed.

Deanna was empathetic when explaining the plan of care to us while being patient, respectful and compassionate.

I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart, for just being honest and trustworthy.

It is admirable to see someone who has a true love for the nursing profession and for her patients. The selflessness she showed by always going above and beyond for my son, as she listened to his concerns and just being there, is something that I am so grateful for.

I, too, work in healthcare as an RN Nurse Manager. Being that we are so far from home but having her be our nurse and the care she provided during this difficult time will always replay in my mind. She is amazing, and I am so thankful to her again.
