Deb has used her experience and knowledge of the ministry workflows and awareness of the pending changes to support not only nurses but assures that other users have been heard. She has been continually persistent to ensure that the current workflows of SSMH are translated and that the frontline users have been heard. There are many examples- one that I am familiar with is assuring that the NPs get the appropriate titling (now that has been broken for years I have learned) to assure the NP work is appropriately designated. Deb is constantly a voice heard at the table as an advocate for all users. She leads by example and is an inspiring mentor for the field of nursing informatics.
